Here is a beautiful 1978 Corvette L-82 Indy Pace Car, offered by the Vault Classic Cars dealership, many more detailed photos WWW.VAULTCARS.COM or call 714-401-1047 with questions. The Corvette was the Indianapolis 500 Pace Car in 1978, one of the many times that Corvette performed in front of the Memorial Day Classic crowds. As a tribute, Chevy Built these Pace Car models, with special Black and Silver trim and graphics. This car is in extremely nice condition, with a beautiful paint job, lovely original Silver interior, mechanically excellent, and with many desirable accessories, such as: Factory Air Conditioning L-82 350 V-8 ( not #s matching , but very correct looking under the hood) Power Steering Power disc brakes Automatic transmission Pace car paint scheme and graphics Silver interior Smog-legal headers Panasonic AM/FM stereo. Power Windows It runs and drives great, the A/C blows cold, and the car is fully operational and ready to enjoy. Its not a show car, it does have some minor flaws, like the carpeting shows very light wear, and I noted some very, very light paint cracks near the taillights. Its a high quality repaint on this car. It shows 24,000 miles, but I cant be sure thats the original mileage. Once in a while the A/C fuse will blow out. Its not a shrink wrapped car with no miles on it, but its not priced that way, either. Its an excellent, rust free nice car! It's in excellent condition, It's always stored indoors, driven infrequently, and professionally maintained. It has a current California smog certificate, which is a big deal on this type of car. Were happy to work with legitimate overseas customers. THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD UNLESS YOU OBTAIN A CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION. California law does not provide for a "cooling off" period for vehicle lease or purchase contracts. Therefore, you cannot later cancel such a contract simply because you change your mind, decide the vehicle costs too much, or wish you had acquired a different vehicle. After you sign a motor vehicle purchase or lease contract, it may only be cancelled with the agreement of the seller or lessor or for legal cause, such as fraud. However, California law does require the seller to offer a 2 day contract cancellation option on used vehicles with a purchase price of less than $40,000, subject to certain statutory conditions. The prospective purchaser of a vehicle may, at his or her own expense and with the approval of the dealer, have the vehicle inspected by an independent third party either on or off the dealership premises.
